If you are starting from the Viseu Cathedral (Sé de Viseu), head east on Rua do Comércio towards Praça da República. Continue straight until you reach the square. From there, take the exit to your left onto Rua da Misericórdia. Follow this street until you reach Largo do Amor de Perdição, where you will find the beautiful gardens. Keep walking straight until you hit Rua da Alegria. Turn right onto Rua da Alegria and then take another right onto Rua da Cava. Continue until you reach Largo Pintor Gata. The Chapel of Our Lady of Remedies will be on your right at Largo Pintor Gata 18.

If you are near the Viseu Bus Station (Estação Rodoviária de Viseu), you can take a local bus towards the city center. Board a bus heading to 'Centro Histórico' and alight at the stop 'Praça da República'. From there, follow the same walking directions as mentioned above, heading east on Rua do Comércio towards Praça da República, then turn left onto Rua da Misericórdia and continue until you find Largo Pintor Gata.
