Public Bus
To reach Old Doha Port from anywhere in Al Rayyan, first locate the nearest bus stop. Take the Mowasalat bus (Karwa) number 76, which heads towards Doha. Make sure to check the bus schedule and be at the bus stop at least 5 minutes before the scheduled departure. The ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the 'Souq Waqif' stop. From there, you can walk to the Old Doha Port, which is about a 20-minute walk. Head east on Mohammed Bin Jassim Street, then turn right onto Al Ahmed Street. Continue straight until you reach the Old Doha Port.
Metro
Begin by walking to the nearest metro station in Al Rayyan, which is the 'Al Rayyan' station on the Green Line. Board the train heading towards 'Al Mansoura'. After 3 stops, disembark at 'Corniche' station. From the Corniche station, exit and walk towards the waterfront. Follow the Corniche promenade until you see signs for the Old Doha Port. The total walking distance from the metro station to the port is approximately 15 minutes.
Taxi or Ride-Sharing Service
If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a taxi or a ride-sharing service like Uber or Careem. Simply request a ride to 'Old Doha Port' or use the address '7HW2+X9C, Street 200, Doha'. The driver will take you directly to the port. This option is ideal if you are with a group or carrying luggage, as it will be more comfortable and convenient. The journey may take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Walking
If you are staying near the central area of Al Rayyan, you can also walk to the Old Doha Port. Head towards Al Rayyan Road and walk towards Doha. It’s a lengthy walk of approximately 6-7 kilometers, which will take around 1.5 hours. Follow Al Rayyan Road until you reach the intersection with Salwa Road. Continue straight until you see signs for the Old Doha Port.
