From the center of Al Shamal, head south on Al Shamal Street towards the Al Khor area. Continue straight until you reach the Qatari highway (Qatar-UAE Road). Cross the road carefully and follow the pedestrian paths leading towards the Al Khor area. After walking for about 30 minutes, you will reach the intersection with Purple Island Road. Turn left onto Purple Island Road and continue walking for another 15-20 minutes. You will see signs directing you towards the Watch Tower, located on Purple Island, just past the mangroves.

If you have access to a bicycle, start at Al Shamal Park and head south on Al Shamal Street. Follow the route along the bike lanes towards Al Khor. Once you reach the Qatari highway, carefully navigate across and take the safer side streets to reach Purple Island Road. This route will take approximately 20-25 minutes, depending on your speed. Upon reaching Purple Island Road, follow the signs leading you towards Watch Tower. The ride should take around 40 minutes total.
