From Beavertail State Park, head northwest on Beavertail Road. Continue for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 138. Turn right onto Route 138 East and drive for approximately 6 miles. Take the exit towards Newport/Route 238, merging onto Route 238 South. Follow the signs for Newport, and continue driving until you reach America's Cup Avenue. Turn right onto America's Cup Avenue, and the Newport Bus Terminal/Hamilton Family Aquarium will be on your left at 23 America's Cup Ave.

To reach the Newport Bus Terminal from Beavertail State Park via public transportation, first make your way to the nearest bus stop on Route 1 near Jamestown. You may need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach the bus stop. From there, you can catch the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) Bus #14 heading towards Newport. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the Newport area. Once you arrive in Newport, disembark at the nearest stop to America's Cup Avenue and walk approximately 5 minutes to reach 23 America's Cup Ave, where the Newport Bus Terminal/Hamilton Family Aquarium is located.
