Walking
From the Old Harbor area, head northwest on Water Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Chapel Street. Turn right onto Chapel Street and follow it until you reach the intersection with Ocean Avenue. Turn left onto Ocean Avenue, and continue walking until you reach the Block Island Ferry terminal. Take the ferry to Montauk, NY. Upon arrival in Montauk, head southeast on Edgemere Street until you reach Star Island Road. Turn left onto Star Island Road, and walk until you reach 59 Star Island Rd, where Sam's Star Island Yacht Club & Marina is located.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Old Harbor area and cycle northwest on Water Street. Continue cycling straight until you reach Chapel Street, where you will make a right turn. Proceed along Chapel Street until you reach Ocean Avenue. Make a left onto Ocean Avenue and cycle until you reach the Block Island Ferry terminal. Board the ferry to Montauk, NY. After disembarking, head southeast on Edgemere Street, then take a left onto Star Island Road.
