Car
If you are driving from anywhere in East Bay, head towards Route 138 East. Continue on Route 138 until you reach the junction with Route 1. Follow the signs for Newport and merge onto Route 1 South. Take the exit for Newport and continue straight until you reach Memorial Blvd. Turn left onto Memorial Blvd, which will lead you into Newport. Continue on Memorial Blvd until you reach Touro Street. Turn right onto Touro Street, and the Newport Historical Society will be on your left at 82 Touro St, Newport, RI 02840. There may be parking fees depending on the area you park in, so be prepared for that.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take the RIPTA bus service. Look for the Route 60 bus that travels from East Bay to Newport. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. The bus will take you to downtown Newport. Once you arrive, walk towards Touro Street. Depending on your starting point in East Bay, the bus fare will be approximately $2.00. After disembarking, head northwest on Broadway, then turn right on Touro Street. The Newport Historical Society will be located at 82 Touro St, Newport, RI 02840.
