To reach the Eisenhower House at 1 Lincoln Dr, Newport, RI 02840 from East Greenwich, start by walking to the nearest bus stop for the RIPTA (Rhode Island Public Transit Authority). The closest stop is at the intersection of Main St and Duke St in East Greenwich. Board the Route 60 bus heading towards Newport. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes and get off at the stop near the Newport Visitor's Center on America’s Cup Avenue. From there, walk towards the waterfront. Follow America's Cup Ave until you reach the intersection with Thames St. Turn right onto Thames St and continue until you reach the intersection with Memorial Blvd. Cross Memorial Blvd and follow the signs to Fort Adams State Park. The Eisenhower House is located within the park, approximately a 15-minute walk from the visitor center.

If you prefer biking, start by renting a bike from any local rental shop in East Greenwich. Once you have your bike, head south on Main St towards the waterfront. Use the bike lanes available and follow Main St as it turns into Division St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 1 South. Take a left onto Route 1, then proceed to follow the signs leading to Newport. After about 6 miles, you will arrive in Newport. Once in Newport, head towards Fort Adams State Park using the bike-friendly paths. The Eisenhower House is located within the park, which is about a 20-minute bike ride from downtown Newport.
