    To reach Middletown Valley Park from Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge by car, start by exiting the refuge and turning left onto Sachuest Point Road. Continue for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with East Main Road (Route 138). Turn right onto East Main Road and follow it north for approximately 2 miles. After passing through the town of Middletown, take a left onto O'Neil Blvd. The park entrance will be on your left. There is no parking fee for the park.

    If you’re using public transportation, you can take the RITBA bus service from Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge to Newport. Board the bus at the nearest stop to the refuge, and ride it towards Newport (approximately a 25-minute ride). Once in Newport, transfer to the Newport Public Transportation bus service. Take the bus route that goes towards Middletown and get off at the stop closest to O'Neil Blvd. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to Middletown Valley Park. Be sure to check the bus schedules as they may vary.
