    From Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge, head northwest on Sachuest Point Rd toward 3rd Beach Rd. After about 0.3 miles, turn left onto 3rd Beach Rd. Continue on 3rd Beach Rd for approximately 1.5 miles, and you will reach Norman Bird Sanctuary located at 583 3rd Beach Rd, Middletown, RI 02842. There is parking available at the sanctuary.

    If you prefer public transportation, you can take the RIPTA bus. From Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge, walk to the nearest bus stop on Sachuest Point Rd. Take the RIPTA Route 67 bus towards Newport. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop near 3rd Beach Rd. From there, it's a 0.5-mile walk to Norman Bird Sanctuary at 583 3rd Beach Rd. Be aware that bus fares are typically around $2.00 per ride.
