Car
If you are traveling by car within Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge, head towards the main entrance on Sachuest Point Road. Follow the signs to exit the refuge and merge onto Route 138 East. Continue on Route 138 East for approximately 2 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 24 North. Take the ramp onto Route 24 North towards Providence. After about 10 miles, take the exit for I-195 East towards Providence. Stay on I-195 for about 5 miles, then take exit 2A for US-44 West toward Downtown. Merge onto Memorial Blvd, and you will find Waterplace Park on your right. Look for parking options nearby.

Public Transportation
To reach Waterplace Park using public transportation, start by locating the nearest bus stop within Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge. Take the RIPTA bus route 60 towards Newport. After approximately 30 minutes, transfer at the Newport Gateway Center to bus route 14 to Providence. Get off at the stop on Memorial Blvd, which is a short walk from Waterplace Park. Follow the sidewalk along Memorial Blvd, and you will see the park entrance on your left.
