Car
If you're traveling by car, start your journey on Route 1 South. Follow the signs toward Narragansett and take the exit for Route 138 East. Continue on Route 138 until you reach the intersection with Ocean Road. Turn left onto Ocean Road. Drive approximately 4 miles along Ocean Road, and you’ll see the Point Judith Lighthouse on your right at 1470 Ocean Rd, Narragansett, RI 02882. There is parking available nearby, but be mindful of any signs indicating parking fees.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take the RIPTA bus #14 from Providence to Narragansett. Make sure to check the RIPTA schedule ahead of time for the latest timings. Once you arrive in Narragansett, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to the lighthouse. Head south on Kingstown Road, then turn right onto Ocean Road. Follow Ocean Road, and you'll reach the lighthouse. Be prepared for a bit of a walk, as there are no direct bus routes to the lighthouse.
Biking
If you enjoy biking, consider renting a bike in Narragansett. Start at the Narragansett Town Beach area and follow Ocean Road. The ride is scenic and will take about 15-20 minutes depending on your pace. Just keep in mind that bike racks are available at the lighthouse, but check for any restrictions on bike access along the route.
