If you are traveling by car, start by getting onto I-95 N from wherever you are in Washington County. Continue on I-95 N for about 15 miles. Take exit 15 for I-195 E toward Providence. In about 3 miles, take exit 4 for US-44 E toward East Providence. Stay on US-44 E for about 1.5 miles, then turn right onto Waterman Ave. After about 0.5 miles, continue onto Riverside Dr. Follow Riverside Dr for approximately 2 miles until you reach the Riverside area. You'll need to find a parking spot nearby, as Pomham Rocks Lighthouse is not directly accessible by car.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, take the RIPTA bus #60 (to Providence) from various points in Washington County. Make sure to check the schedule for the closest stop and times. Once you arrive in Providence, transfer to bus #3 toward East Providence. Get off at the stop closest to Riverside Dr. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles along Riverside Dr to reach the lighthouse area. Be aware that the lighthouse itself is on an island and can only be viewed from the shore or by taking a private boat tour.
