Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving in Washington County, head towards North Kingstown. From Route 1, take the exit for Route 102 North. Continue on Route 102 until you reach the intersection with Route 1A. Turn left onto Route 1A, which will take you towards Wickford. As you approach Wickford, follow signs for Wickford Harbor. You will need to park at the Wickford Harbor area, as there is no parking directly at the lighthouse itself. Look for public parking lots near the harbor.

  Once parked at Wickford Harbor, walk towards the waterfront. The Poplar Point Lighthouse is located on a small island, and you will need to take a short ferry ride to reach it. Check the local ferry schedule at Wickford Harbor; ferry rides may incur a small fee (typically around $5 round trip). After purchasing your ticket, board the ferry and enjoy the scenic ride to Poplar Point Lighthouse.
