If you're driving from West Bay, get on RI-138 E from your current location. Follow RI-138 E for approximately 10 miles. Continue on RI-138 E until you reach the Newport area. Take the exit toward US-1 S/Newport from RI-138 E. Once on US-1 S, follow the signs to Newport. As you enter Newport, keep left to stay on US-1 S. When you reach the intersection with Touro St, turn left. The Newport Historical Society will be on your right at 82 Touro St. Parking is available on the street or in nearby parking lots, which may incur fees.
