Car
If you are driving from central Gikongoro, head southwest on the main road (Nyanza-Gikongoro Road). Continue for about 8 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Rukari Road. Turn right onto Rukari Road and drive for approximately 2 kilometers. The Rwanda African Art Museum will be on your left, directly opposite the Nyanza bus park. Parking is available nearby.

Public Transportation
To reach the Rwanda African Art Museum using public transportation, take a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) from anywhere in Gikongoro. Make sure to tell the driver you want to go to the Museum located on Rukari Road opposite the Nyanza bus park. The ride should cost around 1,000 RWF. Alternatively, you can also take a local bus heading towards Nyanza; ask the conductor to drop you off at the Nyanza bus park. From there, the museum is just a short walk across the street.
