Getting There

Walking
Start your journey from the center of Gisenyi. Head southeast along Avenue de la Révolution towards the lakeside. Continue walking until you reach the main lakeside promenade, known as 'Promenade de Gisenyi'. Follow this promenade along the lake for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Kivu Hotel. From the Kivu Hotel, take the path that leads upwards towards the hills. You'll see signs directing you towards 'Kibuye' and 'Golf of Nyabidahe'. Continue walking along the path for about 2 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views of Lake Kivu. When you reach a fork in the path, take the left path that leads to Kibuye. After another 1 kilometer of walking, you will arrive at Golf of Nyabidahe, located at 'W8XW+29, Kibuye'.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Gisenyi. Start from the center of Gisenyi and head towards the lakeside along Avenue de la Révolution. Once you reach the lakeside promenade, turn left and cycle along the promenade for about 1.5 kilometers. As you approach the Kivu Hotel, look for the path that leads up towards the hills. This path will take you towards Kibuye. Cycle up the hill for approximately 2 kilometers. When you reach a fork, take the left path, and continue cycling for another kilometer until you arrive at Golf of Nyabidahe, located at 'W8XW+29, Kibuye'.

Public Transport
From Gisenyi, you can take a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) to Kibuye. Find a moto-taxi near the main market or along Avenue de la Révolution. Tell the driver you want to go to Golf of Nyabidahe in Kibuye. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Kibuye, ask the driver to drop you off at 'W8XW+29', where Golf of Nyabidahe is located. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.
