From the center of Gisenyi, head towards the main road (A1) and walk along it in the direction of the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the lakeshore. Follow the path along the lake; you will see the beautiful views of Lake Kivu. Continue along the lakeside path for approximately 500 meters until you reach a popular gathering area by the water, which is often frequented by tourists.
