Getting There

Car
From the main entrance of Gishwati-Mukura National Park, head south on the main road. Continue for approximately 5 km until you reach a fork. Take the left fork towards Congo Nile Trail. Follow this road for another 3 km. You will see signs for Cyimbiri Waterfalls leading you to a small parking area where you can leave your vehicle.

Public Transportation
Catch a local bus from Gishwati-Mukura National Park to the nearest town, which is close to the Congo Nile Trail. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes and costs around 500 RWF. Once you arrive, you may need to hire a motorcycle taxi (known as 'moto') to take you the remaining distance to the Cyimbiri Waterfalls. This will cost approximately 2000 RWF. The moto will take you directly to the trailhead.
