Walking
From the center of Ruhengeri, head west towards Avenue de la Revolution. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the main roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue du Lac. Continue on this road for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach the entrance to the Nyiragongo National Park, which is where the hike to Mt Nyiragongo begins. There should be signs directing you to the park entrance.
