Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Ada Ciganlija, start by heading southeast on Banjica Street towards the intersection with the boulevard. Follow the signs for the city center (Centar) and drive along the Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the street Kneza Mihaila. Turn right onto Kneza Mihaila and follow this road until you reach the entrance to the Belgrade Fortress. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

    To reach Belgrade Fortress from Ada Ciganlija using public transport, first, take bus number 27 from the nearest bus stop at Ada Ciganlija. This bus will take you to the 'Zeleni Venac' stop. From there, transfer to tram line 2 or 6. Get off at the 'Kalemegdan' stop. Once you exit the tram, follow the signs to Belgrade Fortress, which is a short walk away. The total fare for the bus and tram will be around 150 RSD, and you can purchase tickets from kiosks or on the bus.
