Walking
From the center of Victoria, head northwest on Independence Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the road that leads to the Seychelles National Botanical Gardens. Follow the signs towards the Gardens and enter the park. After exploring the Gardens, exit and continue on the same road, following the signs towards the Anse aux Pins area. Keep walking and look for local signs that direct you towards Mount Carmel. The hike to Mount Carmel is accessible from the nearby trails, so make sure to follow the marked paths.
Public Transport
From the central bus station in Victoria, take bus number 4 heading towards Anse aux Pins. The bus will take you along the coastal road and provide beautiful views. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Mount Carmel' bus stop. From there, follow the signs to the hiking trail entrance for Mount Carmel. The trail is well-marked, and you will find local guides available if you need assistance.
