From Cul de Sac, head southwest on Route 1 (also known as N7). Follow the signs for Orient Bay and continue on this road for approximately 3 kilometers. When you reach the fork, take the left exit towards Pinel Island. Drive for another 1.5 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the Pinel Island ferry terminal. Please note that parking may have a fee, typically around $5 for the day.

To reach Pinel Island Beach using public transportation, find a local bus that travels along Route 1 towards Orient Bay. Buses are relatively frequent, and you can catch one from various stops in Cul de Sac. Inform the driver that you are going to Pinel Island, and you will be dropped off at the nearest stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes to the Pinel Island ferry terminal. The ferry to Pinel Island costs around $12 round trip, and it operates regularly throughout the day.
