From the center of Škofja Loka, walk to the main bus station located at Trg svobode. Here, you will find buses heading towards Bohinjska Bistrica. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next departures. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride, which should take about 30-40 minutes. Get off at the Bohinjska Bistrica stop, and from there, you can either walk or take another local bus towards Bohinjsko jezero.

If you prefer walking from the bus stop in Bohinjska Bistrica, head towards the road sign that points towards Bohinjsko jezero. Follow the path for about 4 kilometers (about an hour of walking) along a scenic route with beautiful views of the mountains. Make sure to stay on the main road, and you will eventually reach Bohinjsko jezero.
