If you are starting from the North Charleston area, head to the nearest bus stop on Rivers Avenue. Take the CARTA bus route 10 towards 'Charleston'. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes, then get off at the stop near the intersection of Savannah Highway (US-17) and Highway 162. From there, walk south on Savannah Highway for about 1 mile until you reach the Caw Caw Interpretive Center at 5200 Savannah Hwy.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from a local bike shop in North Charleston. Start your journey by heading down East Montague Avenue towards the North Charleston Coliseum. Take a right on Savannah Highway (US-17) and follow the bike lanes south. The ride will take around 30-40 minutes. Caw Caw Interpretive Center will be on your left at 5200 Savannah Hwy.

For those who enjoy walking, start from the center of North Charleston and walk towards the nearest major road, which is Rivers Avenue. Walk along Rivers Avenue until you reach Savannah Highway (US-17). Turn left and continue walking south for about 2 miles. The Caw Caw Interpretive Center will be located on your left at 5200 Savannah Hwy.
