To reach the Angel Oak Tree from downtown Mount Pleasant, you can take the CARTA bus. Start at the Mount Pleasant Town Centre bus stop. Board the bus route 40 towards 'Charleston' and remain on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Johns Island' stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk: head south on Main Road, then turn left onto Angel Oak Road. The Angel Oak Tree will be on your right.
Bicycle
If you're interested in cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Mount Pleasant, such as 'Mount Pleasant Bike Rentals'. From the rental shop, head south towards Coleman Boulevard and then follow it until it connects to Highway 17 South. Continue on Highway 17 South for about 6 miles, then turn onto Main Road. After about 2 miles, turn left onto Angel Oak Road. The Angel Oak Tree will be ahead on your right.

Continue on Coleman Boulevard until you reach Highway 17 South. Cross the highway and keep walking straight on Main Road for about 2 miles. Then, turn left onto Angel Oak Road. The Angel Oak Tree will be located at 3688 Angel Oak Rd, just a short walk down the road.
