If you're starting from the North Charleston City Market, head south on Meeting Street toward Wentworth Street. Continue straight on Meeting Street for about 1.5 miles until you reach Calhoun Street. Turn left onto Elizabeth Street, and you will see the Aiken-Rhett House Museum at 48 Elizabeth St on your left.

From the North Charleston Coliseum, walk to the nearest bus stop at Coliseum Dr & Montague Ave. Take the CARTA bus number 10 towards the Civic Center. Get off at the stop at Calhoun St & Meeting St, which is about a 20-minute ride. From there, walk south on Meeting Street for about two blocks, then turn right onto Calhoun Street. Walk for two blocks until you reach Elizabeth Street. Turn left onto Elizabeth Street, and the Aiken-Rhett House Museum will be at 48 Elizabeth St.
