From the center of Summerville, walk to the nearest bus stop at Main St and Summerville Ave. Board the CARTA bus number 10 towards downtown Charleston. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the stop on King St at Broad St. From there, walk east on Broad St for about 0.5 miles until you reach Elizabeth St. Turn right onto Elizabeth St, and the Aiken-Rhett House Museum will be on your left at 48 Elizabeth St.

Rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Summerville. Start at the Summerville Town Square, heading south on Main St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with U.S. 78.
