Once on I-85 S, continue for approximately 50 miles. Take exit 1B for I-77 N toward Charlotte. Follow I-77 N for about 15 miles. Take exit 3 for US-521 S/Lancaster Hwy and merge onto US-521 S. Continue on US-521 S for about 3 miles, and you will find the President James K. Polk State Historic Site on your right at 12031 Lancaster Hwy, Pineville, NC 28134.
