Getting There

• Walking

  If you're in central Custer, start by heading north on 5th Street towards the intersection with Mount Rushmore Road (US-16). Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the junction with US-16. At this intersection, turn left onto US-16. Keep walking along US-16 for approximately 7 miles. You will pass through beautiful scenic areas and small towns along the way. The National Presidential Wax Museum will be on your left at 609 US-16A, Keystone, SD 57751. Look for the museum's signage to guide you.

• Bicycle

  Start your bike ride at the Custer County Courthouse located in the center of Custer. Head north on 5th Street, then turn left onto Mount Rushmore Road (US-16). Continue on US-16 for about 7 miles. Make sure to obey all traffic signs and be cautious of vehicles as you ride. The National Presidential Wax Museum will be on your left at 609 US-16A, Keystone, SD 57751. Enjoy the scenic ride through the Black Hills!

• Public Transport

  While there is no direct bus service from Custer to Keystone, you can take a shuttle if available (check local tourist information). Start at the Custer Visitor Center and inquire about shuttle services to Keystone. If a shuttle is available, it will take you directly to Keystone. Once you arrive in Keystone, the National Presidential Wax Museum is located at 609 US-16A, just a short walk from the shuttle drop-off point.
