If you are driving from anywhere in Lake Oahe, head towards Pierre, SD. Follow local roads to reach SD-34 W. Continue on SD-34 W for approximately 7 miles until you reach the junction with SD-1804 S. Turn left onto SD-1804 S and follow the signs for Farm Island Recreation Area. The entrance to the park will be on your left after about 3 miles. Parking is available at the site.
