From the Mount Rushmore National Memorial Visitor Center, exit and head south on SD-244. Follow the road until you reach the intersection with SD-87. Turn left onto SD-87 and continue on this scenic road for approximately 12 miles. Enjoy the views along the way as you approach Custer. The Needles Scenic View will be on your right, just after you pass through the beautiful granite formations.
