Car
If you are driving, head east on Donghae Expressway (Expressway 65) from Gangneung. After about 30 kilometers, take the exit for Yangyang and continue on Local Road 7 towards Hajodae Beach. Follow the signs for Hajodae Beach, which will lead you to Hajodaehaean-gil. The beach is located at 35 Hajodaehaean-gil, Hyeonbuk-myeon, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do. There is parking available near the beach, but note that there might be a parking fee of around 1,000 KRW per hour.

Public Transportation
To reach Hajodae Beach using public transportation, take a bus from Gangneung Bus Terminal. Look for a bus heading towards Yangyang; buses run frequently throughout the day. Once you arrive at Yangyang Bus Terminal, transfer to a local bus or taxi to Hajodae Beach. The local bus number 32 will take you directly to the beach area. The total fare for the bus ride from Gangneung to Yangyang is approximately 6,000 KRW, and the local bus fare is about 1,200 KRW.
