Getting There

  • Subway

    Start by taking Line 3 (the Orange Line) at any station in Seoul. If you are near a transfer station, such as Seoul Station or Gangnam Station, you can easily reach Line 3. Ride the subway towards the direction of Daehwa Station and get off at Gyeongbokgung Station (Exit 2). Once you exit, turn right and head towards the Gyeongbokgung Palace.

  • Walking

    After exiting Gyeongbokgung Station, walk straight towards the palace. You will see the main entrance of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Once you reach the palace, continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Jahamun-ro. Turn left onto Jahamun-ro, and continue walking for about 600 meters until you see the entrance to Inwangsan Mountain Park on your right.

  • Bus

    Alternatively, from Gyeongbokgung Station, you can take Bus No. 1020 or 1711. Look for the bus stop near the palace entrance. Board the bus and ride for about 5-10 minutes. Get off at the Inwangsan Park bus stop. From there, walk towards the park entrance, which will be clearly marked.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Seoul. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Inwangsan Mountain Park' (인왕산 공원). The taxi drivers are generally familiar with the location, and the ride will take approximately 10-20 minutes depending on traffic.
