Getting There

    Take Line 1 (the Blue Line) from any station in Seoul towards Seodongtan. If you are starting from Seoul Station, board the train at Seoul Station and travel for 1 stop to City Hall Station. At City Hall Station, transfer to Line 2 (the Green Line) and head towards Seongsu. After 3 stops, get off at Euljiro 1-ga Station. From Euljiro 1-ga Station, take Exit 1 and walk straight for approximately 500 meters until you reach Jeong-dong. The Road of Emperor Gojong will be on your left.

  • Bus

    You can take Bus 7011 or 1005 from various locations in Seoul. If you are near Seoul Station, board Bus 7011 and ride for about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the 'Jeongdong 1-gil' stop. From there, walk approximately 100 meters towards Jeong-dong, and you will find the Road of Emperor Gojong on your right.

    If you are staying nearby, for example in Myeongdong, you can walk to Road of Emperor Gojong. Start at Myeongdong Station (Line 4) and exit at Exit 6. Walk straight for about 1 km along the main road, passing by the Seoul Plaza and the City Hall. Continue straight until you reach Jeong-dong, where the road will appear on your left. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes.
