Start by finding the nearest subway station. Take Line 3 (the orange line) and head towards the 'Gyeongbokgung Station.' Once you arrive at Gyeongbokgung Station, take Exit 1. As you exit, you will find yourself in front of Gyeongbokgung Palace, which is a popular landmark. From here, walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection of Sejong-daero and Saemunan-ro.

At the intersection of Sejong-daero and Saemunan-ro, turn left onto Saemunan-ro. Continue walking straight for about 5 minutes. You will pass by the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art on your right. Sungjeongmun Gate will be located on your left at 45 Saemunan-ro, Jongno District, Seoul. It is a historical landmark, so keep an eye out for its distinctive architecture.

Alternatively, if you prefer taking a bus, go to the nearest bus stop and take Bus No. 1711 or 1020. Get off at the 'Gyeongbokgung Palace' bus stop. From there, walk in the direction of the palace entrance, then continue walking along the main road until you reach Saemunan-ro. Sungjeongmun Gate will be just a short walk away, located at 45 Saemunan-ro.
