Getting There

  • Subway

    If you are near a subway station, take Line 1 (the dark blue line) to City Hall Station. Once you arrive, take Exit 2. After exiting, walk straight for about 5 minutes. You will see the Deoksugung Palace entrance on your left; Seokjojeon is located within the palace grounds.

  • Bus

    You can catch a local bus heading towards Deoksugung. Look for bus numbers 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, or 7, and get off at the Deoksugung Palace stop. From there, walk towards the entrance of the palace, and Seokjojeon will be within the grounds.

  • Walking

    If you are already in the vicinity of Deoksugung, simply head towards 99 Sejong-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul. Look for the large gates of Deoksugung Palace. Seokjojeon is located inside the palace. You can enter through the main gate and follow the signs to the museum.
