Getting There

  • Walking

    From Gran Via, head towards the Plaza de España. You can either walk straight down Gran Via or take a side street to reach the Plaza. Once at Plaza de España, look for the large monument of Miguel de Cervantes. From here, continue straight ahead onto Calle de Bailén. The Royal Palace of Madrid will be on your left after a short walk of about 10-15 minutes.

  • Metro

    If you prefer to take the Metro, you can walk to the Banco de España station (Line 2) from Gran Via. Take the Metro towards Cuatro Caminos and get off at Ópera station (1 stop). From Ópera, exit the station and walk towards Calle de Bailén. The Royal Palace will be approximately a 5-minute walk straight ahead.
