If you are in Bentota, the easiest way to get to Polgampola Waterfall (Thambadola Ella) is by taking a tuk tuk. Just find a tuk tuk stand near your location, or ask your hotel for assistance in booking one. Inform the driver that you want to go to Polgampola Waterfall, which is located at F676+6CM, Polgampola. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, the waterfall will be a short walk from where the tuk tuk drops you off.

Public Bus
To reach Polgampola Waterfall using public transportation, head to the nearest bus stop in Bentota. Look for a bus heading towards Aluthgama or Kalutara. Ask the conductor to drop you off at the Polgampola junction. The bus ride should take about 30 minutes. Once you get off, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers towards the waterfall. Follow the main road and look for signs directing you to the waterfall. It's a scenic walk, so enjoy the surroundings!

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer a more adventurous option, consider renting a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Bentota. Once you have your bike, head towards the Aluthgama road and follow it north. After about 5 kilometers, you will see signs for Polgampola Waterfall. The ride will take around 30-50 minutes depending on your pace. Lock your bike at the designated area and take a short walk to the waterfall.
