From Colombo Fort Railway Station, take a train heading towards Aluthgama or Galle. You need to get off at the Panadura Railway Station. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Panadura, exit the station and head towards the main road.

After exiting Panadura Railway Station, you can hire a tuk-tuk. Inform the driver that you want to go to Bolgoda Lake. It is about 5 km away and should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
