Start at the Galle Fort area. Head southeast towards the Galle Bus Station, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Once you reach the bus station, look for a bus heading towards Matara. The buses are frequent, so you shouldn't have to wait long. Take the bus and enjoy the scenic ride, which should take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the bus stop closest to Gandara, which is located on the highway (ask the bus driver to let you know when you reach Gandara).
