Car
If you're driving from Hambantota town, head east on the A2 road. Continue for about 25 kilometers until you reach the junction near the Kalametiya Fishery Harbor. Turn left onto the B176 road towards Kalametiya. Follow the B176 for approximately 5 kilometers, and then take a right onto the access road leading to Lankavatara Beach. There is a small parking area near the beach. Please note there may be a small fee for parking, usually around 100 LKR.

Public Transport
From Hambantota town, take a bus heading towards Tangalle. Ask the conductor to drop you off at the Kalametiya junction. This journey typically costs around 50 LKR. Once you reach the junction, you can either walk (about 5 kilometers) or hire a tuk-tuk for about 300 LKR to take you directly to Lankavatara Beach. The tuk-tuk will be the easiest way to reach the beach if you're carrying belongings.
