If you are driving, start from the entrance of Horton Plains National Park. Follow the main road leading through the park. After a short drive, keep an eye out for the Galpalama junction, which will be on your left. Turn left at this junction and continue straight. The road will lead you through a rural area; follow the signs indicating the direction towards Bomburu Ella Waterfall. You may have to park your vehicle at a designated parking area near the entrance to the walking trail.

Public Transportation
To reach Bomburu Ella Waterfall using public transportation, take a bus from Nuwara Eliya to the Horton Plains National Park entrance. From there, you will need to find local transport (such as a tuk-tuk) to take you to the Galpalama junction. Once you reach the junction, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest access point to Bomburu Ella Waterfall, as it is not directly accessible by public transport. Be prepared to walk approximately 1-2 kilometers from the drop-off point to the waterfall.
