If you are starting from the Kandy City Center, head northwest on Dalada Vidiya towards the Kandy Lake. Walk around the lake for about 10 minutes until you reach the Kandy Bus Stand. From there, take a local bus heading towards Katukele. The bus ride will take around 15 minutes. Ask the bus conductor to drop you at 'Katukele' or 'Pillaiyar Kovil' stop. Once you get off, walk about 5 minutes north along the main road, and you will see Katukele Pillaiar Kovil on your left.
