    From the center of Minneriya National Park, head towards the main road (A9) and take a left to Matale. Continue on A9 for about 12 kilometers until you reach the junction for Sembuwatta Lake Road. Turn right onto Sembuwatta Lake Road. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers until you arrive at Sembuwatta Lake, which will be on your right. Look out for signage indicating the lake.

    From Minneriya National Park, you can take a local bus towards Matale from the nearest bus stop. The bus ride typically takes around 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Matale, you will need to take a tuk-tuk or a local taxi to Sembuwatta Lake. The distance is about 10 kilometers, and the tuk-tuk ride will cost approximately LKR 500-700. Make sure to tell the driver to take you to Sembuwatta Lake Road.
