From the center of Mirissa, head east towards the Mirissa Beach. Walk along the beach road until you reach the main road (Galle-Matara Road). Turn left onto Galle-Matara Road and walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Weherahena Poorwarama Rajamaha Viharaya on your right. Continue walking until you reach Weherahena Rd, and the temple will be on your left.

You can easily hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Mirissa. Just tell the driver you want to go to Weherahena Poorwarama Rajamaha Viharaya in Matara. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey. The tuk-tuk will drop you off right outside the temple entrance.
