Walking
From the center of Nuwara Eliya, head towards the Nuwara Eliya Post Office. Once you reach the Post Office, walk along the Main Street (also known as the Nuwara Eliya - Badulla Road) in the direction of Badulla. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the junction where you need to take a left turn onto the Badulla Road. Continue walking straight for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach Badulla. Once in Badulla, ask locals for directions to 'Samadhi Mawatha' where the Badulla Alugolla Samadhi Buddha Statue is located.
