Walking
From the center of Nuwara Eliya, head south towards the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club. Once you reach the club, continue straight on the main road (A5) for about 1.5 km. You will pass several shops and the famous Lake Gregory on your left. Keep your eyes peeled for local signs indicating the direction towards Pinnawala. Take a left turn onto the road marked 'Pinnawala', which will lead you out of Nuwara Eliya. Continue straight for about 10 km, enjoying the scenic views. As you approach the town of Rambukkana, look for signs directing you to the Elephant Bathing Site. The site is located approximately 1 km from the town center, and you will see elephants bathing in the river. Follow the signs to the bathing area.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the main bus stand in Nuwara Eliya, board a bus heading to Rambukkana. The buses are frequent and usually depart every 30 minutes. The journey may take approximately 45-60 minutes, depending on traffic. Inform the conductor that you are going to the Elephant Bathing Site, and they will let you know when to disembark. Once you arrive in Rambukkana, you can either walk (about 1 km) following the signs to the bathing site or ask a local for directions if you're unsure.
