Walking
From the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, exit the main gate and turn left onto the main road (B199). Continue walking along this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Happy Elephant on your right. The walk should take about 20-25 minutes.

Tuk-Tuk
For a quicker option, you can hire a tuk-tuk from the entrance of Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Simply tell the driver 'Happy Elephant' or show them the address: No:07 B199, Rambukkana 71100. The ride should take around 5-10 minutes and typically costs between 200-400 LKR, depending on negotiation.

If you have a car, exit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and head south on the B199 road. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will find Happy Elephant on your right. Make sure to have a GPS or a map app ready as it will assist you in finding the exact location.

You can take a local bus from the Pinnawala bus stop. Look for buses heading towards Rambukkana. Ask the bus conductor to drop you off at 'Happy Elephant' or 'B199'. The bus ride is very affordable, costing around 30 LKR, and will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
