Start from the center of Nuwara Eliya, near the famous Post Office. Head east on Bank Road until you reach the intersection with the main road. Turn left onto the main road (A5) and walk towards the direction of the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club. Continue straight; you will see the golf course on your right. After approximately 1 kilometer, keep an eye out for the sign towards Abayapura Road. Turn right onto Abayapura Road. As you walk along this road, you will notice the surroundings change to more scenic views. Gegory Lake View Point is located at 25 Abayapura Rd, which is about a 15-minute walk from the main road. Follow the road until you see the lake and the viewpoint on your left.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Nuwara Eliya. Start at the Post Office and head east on Bank Road. Turn left onto the main road (A5) and cycle towards the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club. After cycling for about 1 kilometer, look for the Abayapura Road sign on your right. Turn right onto Abayapura Road and continue cycling for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Gegory Lake View Point at 25 Abayapura Rd. You will enjoy the beautiful views along the way, and it's a pleasant ride.
