Getting There

Walking
Starting from the Sigiriya Rock Fortress entrance, head north on the main road (Dambulla-Sigiriya Road). After approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach a sign for Pidurangala Rock on your left. Follow the path leading towards Pidurangala Temple. The temple is about a 15-minute walk from the main road. Once you reach the temple, continue up the path to Pidurangala Rock, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of Lion Rock and the surrounding landscape.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from your accommodation in Sigiriya and head towards the Dambulla-Sigiriya Road. Cycle north for about 1 kilometer until you see the Pidurangala Rock sign on your left. Park your bicycle at the designated area and proceed on foot towards Pidurangala Temple.
